BotanyBud, a product of JUNCTIONTECH INC ("we", "our", or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

• Plant Data: Information about your plants including photos, names, species, watering schedules, and care history. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Location Data: With your permission, we access your approximate location to provide weather-based plant care alerts. This data is not stored on our servers.
• Camera Access: We access your camera solely to scan and identify plants. Photos are processed locally or through our AI service and are not stored on our servers after processing.
• Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store). We do not store your payment information.

Your plant data, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using secure storage. We do not maintain a central database of your personal plant information. If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be removed.

• OpenAI: Plant photos are sent to OpenAI's API for identification. Photos are processed in accordance with OpenAI's privacy policy and are not retained after processing.
• OpenWeather: Your approximate location is used to fetch weather data. No personal information is shared with OpenWeather.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. They may collect anonymized analytics data.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. Plant data is stored locally using iOS secure storage mechanisms. We do not transmit your personal data to external servers except as described for plant identification and weather services.

BotanyBud is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
