Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using BotanyBud ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

BotanyBud is a plant care companion app that helps you identify plants, track watering schedules, receive care reminders, and monitor weather conditions that may affect your plants. The App uses artificial intelligence for plant identification and provides general care recommendations.

BotanyBud does not require account registration. Your plant data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored on it.

• Free Tier: The free version allows you to track up to 2 plants with basic features.
• Premium Subscription: Premium features are available through a monthly ($0.99/month) or annual ($9.99/year) subscription.
• Payment: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the App's security
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service

Important: BotanyBud provides general plant care recommendations based on AI identification and standard care guidelines. These recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional horticultural advice.

• Plant identification may not always be accurate
• Care recommendations are general guidelines and may not suit all conditions
• Environmental factors, plant health, and specific varieties may require different care
• We are not responsible for any damage to plants resulting from following in-app recommendations

Weather-based plant care alerts are provided as helpful suggestions based on local weather data. Weather forecasts may not always be accurate, and actual conditions may vary. You should use your own judgment when caring for your plants.

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by JUNCTIONTECH INC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JUNCTIONTECH INC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of plants, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
